Memorial Day - The Start Of The 2024 Rafting Season

Choose From Any Of Our Three Rafting Options

Memorial Day is the kickoff to our summer season! From this day on we now have a guaranteed water release schedule, which means we can take all our rafting adventure trips every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Throughout the season we offer trip check-ins that typically begin at 10:30 and will be available every 30 minutes to two hours depending on the time of the year and the trip you choose.

As one of the most popular rafting trips in America, whitewater rafting on the Upper Pigeon River will offer you the best introduction to rafting in Tennessee. Experience beautiful views of the mountains while cooling off from the summer heat on a fully guided trip through the Pigeon River Gorge. No experience is necessary, every trip is fully guided by a customer-friendly, safety-oriented guide. You and your group will experience an exhilarating six miles of river action, featuring a total of 10 Class III rapids and 3 Class IV rapids. With rapid names like Lost Guide, Double-Reactionary, and Snapdragon, you can expect plenty of excitement on this trip that will leave you with stories to tell for years to come. There will still be time between the rapids to take in the views, soak up some sun, and have a swim, making this excursion one you will not forget. If you want to enhance your experience in the Smoky Mountains with the thrill of a rafting trip and unique mountain views accessible only by water, then this trip is the trip for you.

Traveling with children under the age of 8? Looking to experience the Smoky Mountain area on a river, but not quite ready for the rapids on the Whitewater Rafting trip? Then the Lower Pigeon River is the best option for you! If you want to relax and disconnect for an hour and a half while floating down the Class I-II rapids, soak up the sun and the beauty of panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains, and have opportunities to swim on a fully guided float trip, we have the trip for you. No experience is necessary, allow our guides to take care of you and your family and create memories to last a lifetime.

Do you want to spend a day enjoying the beauty of the Smoky Mountains while on a river? Have you been on a trip with us and found yourself wishing the fun didn't have to end? Don't worry, we have you covered with our Full Day trip. You will take a trip down the Lower section of our river enjoying our scenic float followed by a break for lunch, pack a lunch to be enjoyed at the riverside or stop by one of our amazing food trucks. After a lunch break, you will then go and enjoy paddling a thrilling 6.5 mile of Class III-IV whitewater. This experience allows you to enjoy the Pigeon River in its entirety and gives you the best of both worlds for your river adventure!
